![]() All it does is click over and over like it's trying to power up but can't. So I grabbed my trusty LG USB DVD-R drive and plugged it into the MacBook using a USB C > A adapter. It is really just a holdover until I see what happens with the ARM transition since my old 2011 MacBook Pro was getting really long in the tooth.Īnyway, I want to rip a bunch of DVD's I have that are recordings of old VHS home videos onto my NAS. I just bought a MacBook Air with the i5 and I am happy with it so far.
